Overview: Honda Passport

Two rows. Real ground clearance. Honda capable.

The all-new 2026 Honda Passport ditches its previous on-road-only attitude for a more capable, rugged design. Built on a stretched Pilot platform, the new Passport offers two rows, generous cargo space, and standard AWD across all trims. It's positioned for buyers who want the capability of a body-on-frame SUV without giving up unibody comfort and refinement.

The Passport's rivals include the Toyota 4Runner, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Ford Bronco. The Passport offers a more refined on-road ride than the 4Runner or Bronco, more capability than the Grand Cherokee, and Honda's reliability advantage.

Expert Review

The new Passport is what the old Passport should have been. The TrailSport's all-terrain tires and skid plates are functional, not just decorative, and the V6 has a satisfying low-end pull. We took it through Moab without drama.
