Overview: Honda Ridgeline TrailSport
The Ridgeline gets dirty.
The Ridgeline TrailSport adds the off-road gear the standard Ridgeline lacks: 31-inch General Grabber A/T Sport all-terrain tires, steel skid plates, an off-road-tuned suspension with longer travel, and unique TrailSport badging. While it won't out-crawl a Tacoma TRD Pro, it can handle moderate trails confidently while still riding better on the highway than any body-on-frame pickup.

How It Compares to Competitors
The Ridgeline TrailSport's most direct rival is the Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. Toyota offers better articulation and a low-range transfer case; Honda offers a better on-road ride and more cabin space. Choose based on how you actually use your truck.
Expert Review
The TrailSport is the Ridgeline we'd buy. The all-terrain tires inspire confidence on dirt roads without ruining the highway ride, and the skid plates mean you can actually use the truck for what trucks are for. It's not a Tacoma TRD Pro replacement, but it doesn't try to be.
